Il Grecco is an Italian-Greek bistro in Alto Prado, Barranquilla. We designed its delivery box, social pieces and a website that feels like a Greek temple at night.
The challenge
The delivery box is a shopfront too.
Plenty of people meet a restaurant through the box that lands on their doorstep before they ever see the room. At Il Grecco, that box was plain cardboard, the same as any pizzeria.
One ink on kraft.
Full-colour printing on cardboard makes every box more expensive and dulls the material. This one uses a single ink — a deep blue — on unbleached kraft: one continuous illustration that wraps the lid and is recognisable from across the table.
A Greek temple at night.
The website uses Aegean blue and the copper of the logo, a pediment crowning the home page, the Greek key as a rule, classical symmetry and sections numbered in Roman numerals. It has a digital menu, signature cocktails, the location with opening hours and a custom management dashboard.
